The George Washington University Division of IT is representing GW research at the International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage and Analysis (SC15) in Austin, Texas this week. Staff are showcasing GW’s cutting-edge technology, including Colonial One, the university’s first shared and cross-discipline high performance computing (HPC) cluster, and CAAREN, the Capital Area Advanced Research and Education Network, among other research projects at GW.

The annual conference highlights how high performance computing is transforming the world, bringing together the international supercomputing community. GW will display research projects completed using Colonial One, the university's high performance computing cluster, meeting with scientists, engineers, researchers, educators, programmers, system administrators and developers throughout the week.
