The Internet2 Global Summit is currently ongoing in Washington, D.C. through April 30, 2015. This summit showcases how the research and education community is transforming the way research and scholarship are conceived and conducted. The 2015 meeting is focusing on the advancement of research capabilities through collaborative innovations in IT infrastructure and applications. As part of the behind the scenes work prior to the conference, Internet2 has been working with the George Washington University and the Capital Area Advanced Research and Education Network (CAAREN)to provide network support. CAAREN will provide routing, commodity services and access to the Internet2 Network in support of this important meeting.
